I’ve been taking Kareem’s group fitness classes at FFC for 5 years now. My first impression of K was very positive. I liked his style of coaching. His classes are always different which keeps me coming back for more. He coaches a variety of classes, anything from yoga, fit kick, strength training, core classes and more. What sets Kareem apart is his ability to focus on his students to make sure they are performing the exercises correctly to prevent injury and really maximize their workout. He takes the time to correct form. He helps build confidence in students by pushing them to pick up a heavier, do pushups on their toes instead of their knees, while saying, in order to see change you need to change the way you do things. As a result, I've gotten stronger and confident. His classes are fun, engaging and a must try!

I worked with Kareem for the good part of a year after I had my second baby in three years. Needless to say he helped me get stronger physically and mentally- more than I was before I had children.

I’ve been able to take a lot of principles and apply them to my daily workout routines in addition to his training sessions. Kareem won’t go easy on you. He’ll push you harder than ever , but it’s worth it .

I took some group fitness classes with Kareem at my local gym and really liked his no nonsense approach and clear instructions during the group exercises. I ended up hiring him as my personal trainer to work on some fitness goals such as mobility, strength, and calisthenics. Kareem knows how to motivate his clients and push them to go above and beyond, which is what a good trainer does. Do not expect to be coddled or given a pat on the back for completing exercises with 50%, hell, even 90% effort. K Fitness has the expectations that you put 200% into every workout. Come to K Fitness if you’re ready to challenge yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and see REAL results. He is a tough, disciplined trainer but it’s because he sees the potential in people and encourages them to break out of their comfort zone to become better versions of themselves. I highly recommend Kareem to anyone looking to go on a fitness journey. He believed in me when I didn’t quite believe in my own abilities and was instrumental in my health and wellness journey!

Kareem is an incredible instructor. In the almost 10 years that I have trained and attended classes with Kareem, I have improved my flexibility, endurance, and increased my muscle mass. Does he make me work? You bet! A workout with Kareem is a gift. He’s experience allows him to create a workout routine tailored to improve my mobility and strength. He will push me, and he will do it safely, making accommodations when needed. No exercise is an afterthought, he takes time learning about what I need and how to address my goals (he is also has a great nutritional resource) . Finally, let me say that Kareem is a total fitness professional and I strongly recommend him to anyone, from a beginner to a seasoned athlete.
